Smooth Start-up of the Gateway Vehicle Inspection Program (GVIP)

On October 1, 2007 SysTech International started the operation of the decentralized vehicle emission inspection program in Missouri. With little more than a 3 month implementation period, SysTech was able to install a functional VID, manufacture nearly 800 safety/OBD inspection analyzers and complete installations at approximately 400 independent stations prior to the start of the program. The Inspection and Maintenance Program Management Contract includes the development, installation and maintenance of a new Vehicle Inspection Database (VID) System, new OBD/Safety analyzers, field service of over 800 independent stations, training of over 3,000 inpectors and auditing support for the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) and Department of Natural Resources (DNR).
