SysTech International develops, installs and maintains the State of Connecticut Vehicle Inspection Database.
SysTech International was selected by the Connecticut DMV as the sole contractor to develop, install and maintain the State of Connecticut Vehicle Inspection Database called the Emissions Database Management System (EDBMS) for the statewide enhanced emissions inspection program. We have developed and installed the industry’s most advanced Vehicle Inspection Database. The EDBMS is fully Internet based, with all station equipment on-line at all times during shop opening hours.
More than 300 decentralized test systems performing over 1 million tests per year communicate with the EDBMS to perform inspections. The EDBMS has a real-time interface with the State of Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles to support registration compliance activities.
The new Connecticut Decentralized Vehicle Emissions Inspection Program started on October 17, 2003.
