SysTech is responsible for the design, development, and installation of the City of Memphis networked Host Computer System housing the Vehicle Inspection Database (VID). In this program, test facilities and lanes are operated by the City of Memphis. The MIS99 Memphis centralized I/M Program for vehicle emissions inspections testing begin in February 2001. It consists of 3 test facilities with a total of 13 workstations performing nearly 500,000 vehicle safety and emission tests per year.
The system utilizes a Microsoft Windows platform operating on Compaq servers, with Microsoft SQL Server database system.
