The new centralized Vehicle Emissions Inspection Program for the State of Washington was implemented on July 1, 2002. SysTech International is the exclusive supplier of all WA2002 Inspection Systems and of the central Vehicle Inspection Database to the I/M program manager in the State of Washington. The central Vehicle Inspection Database interfaces with the State of Washington vehicle registration system.
The time from the Contract Award to the start of network-wide testing was less than 8 months. The Washington Emissions Inspection Program consists of 17 facilities, 70 lanes, and performs over 1 million annual vehicle inspections.
SysTech International designed, developed, manufactured and installed two position emissions inspection lane equipment. The equipment performs the following tests: ASM, Two Speed Idle, OBDII, Loaded Mode Opacity and Snap Acceleration Opacity Tests.
In addition, SysTech International designed, developed, installed and maintains the central Vehicle Inspection Database for the centralized vehicle emissions inspection program in Washington.
