State of Rhode Island emissions inspection program starts with SysTech supplied VID
The State of Rhode Island started mandatory statewide testing of over 650,000 cars on January 3, 2000 with virtually no start-up problems. SysTech provided the Vehicle Inspection Database and technical Management Services for the program.
Aside from the design, development, and implementation of the VID, SysTech was responsible for program technical management - including specification development, overseeing workstation development, workstation system acceptance, program cut points, etc. during the program implementation phase.
