SysTech performed technical management services during the implementation of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts I/M program. These responsibilities included writing the program specification, overseeing workstation development, performing workstation system acceptance testing, determining program cut points, and managing various technical details.
In addition, SysTech designed, developed, and installed a sophisticated information technology solution called Statistical Diagnostic Messaging (SDM) that utilizes statistical analysis to determine the most probable cause of an emissions failure. This information can be used to determine proper repair for the failing vehicle.
The Massachusetts I/M Program was implemented in October 1999 and consists of more than 1,350 test facilities performing over 4.2 million vehicle safety and emissions tests per year.
